Ram brings more than 25 years of life sciences industry experience and expertise spanning clinical development and postmarket support. He is responsible for establishing and growing the Indegene clinical business with a focus on clinical digital transformation initiatives across large pharma and emerging biotech. As an entrepreneur, he earlier cofounded and led the global growth of a full-service CRO. At Indegene, he leverages insights from real-world data, cutting-edge digital technologies, deep domain expertise, and global delivery to orchestrate digital first propositions across data, content, and core clinical development operations. Ram is an alumnus of IIT, Madras.

Most recently, he was the President of Field Solutions at Eversana. He has previously worked with Alamo Pharma Services and inVentiv Health.<p/><p>Peter serves on the faculty of Rutgers Business School Pharmaceutical MBA program and is a three-time honoree of PharmaVoice Magazine's 100 Most Inspiring Leaders. He is an alumnus of San Diego State University.<p/>

VP, CESO, Enterprise Commercial Solutions

Junaid leads the HCP and Patient Omnichannel Customer Experience Campaign Strategy and Operations at Indegene. Throughout his career, Junaid has been partnering with life sciences and consumer services brands to engage and generate conversations with their customers. Junaid's focus has been on creating tactical strategy, channel management, campaign management, digital media, database, and analytics. He helps design impactful patient and HCP campaigns across channels and tactics using relevant and personalized content. He leads an amazingly talented team of omnichannel strategy and operations experts. <p>Junaid holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Houston and is based outside of New York in Fairfield, CT. </p>

VP, Human Resources and Grievance Officer

Bina leads the Human Resources unit of Indegene. She has over 22 years of experience, including over 11 years of experience at Indegene, in Talent Management, Team Development, and Global Systems. She holds a Degree in Bachelor of Arts from the Bangalore University, India and a Master of Social Work degree from the Pune University, India.

Dr Saurabh Jain

VP, Global Operations

Saurabh has worked on new commercial models and has addressed the challenges within the pharma industry around engagement with the key stakeholders. With over 17 years of industry experience, he has helped industry players to engage stakeholders (HCPs/Nurses/Pharmacists/Payers/Internal Reps/Patients, and other teams) in a more engaging manner through various digital channels and media. He has also established Medical Engagement Centers for Multichannel Marketing (MCM), Medical Information Management (MIM), and Patient Engagement Programs across the globe. Saurabh also has a strong interest in accredited CME programs; he has worked extensively on CME/CPD projects across Asia Pacific (India, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Philippines) and Europe, with the respective International Center of Excellence. Soundarya Mahalingam

VP, Corporate Planning

Soundarya is responsible for overall planning, forecasting, and reporting of financial and operation metrics for the company. She drives consensus among multiple stakeholders based on future needs by partnering with Indegene's various business units, enabling functions, the executive leadership, and the board.<p>Soundarya comes from GE Healthcare, where she was leading Financial Planning and Analysis for South Asia. She managed relations with executive leadership and joint venture partners, led `Make in India` initiatives, and enabled government advocacy and new partnerships. Soundarya has been part of GE's Leadership Programs – Finance Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff and also led GE Women's Network for Healthcare sites. She also has prior work experience with TVS Motors and Hewlett Packard. Soundarya is a qualified Cost & Works Accountant and has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from S P Jain Institute of Management and Research.</p>

Dr. Vishal Shah

VP, Leadership and Organizational Development

Vishal has a judicious mix of corporate and academic backgrounds, which he brings to our strategic Human Resources function. In a career spanning 22 years, he has worked in industries such as IT services, Fintech and Retail while handling diverse roles in HR, Sales, and Consulting. His passion for people and people development has seen him handle global roles in Leadership, Talent, Culture and Organization Development in companies such as Paytm, Wipro and iDiscoveri, an education and learning start-up. He has published in international journals and presented in international conferences. Vishal holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a PhD in Organization Capability from IIM Bangalore

Nikesh Shah

VP, Global Safety

Nikesh leads the Global Safety business for Indegene. He is also responsible for Marketing, Presales and Strategic Initiatives for the Enterprise Medical BU. Previously, Nikesh headed the Pricing, Reimbursement and Market Access & HEOR business for Indegene, and was instrumental in completing the acquisition of a PRMA advisory firm (MME) and successfully integrating it into Indegene. Prior to this, Nikesh headed the Corporate Strategy function at Indegene, working with the Executive Leadership team to identify and execute strategic initiatives for the organization.<p>Prior to joining Indegene, Nikesh was the COO for the next-generation diagnostics start-up, GenePath Dx. Nikesh has also worked with Infosys BPO and Accenture. Nikesh holds an Engineering degree from Mumbai University and has completed his MBA from IIM Bangalore.</p>

Raghavendra Thirtha

VP, Commercial Delivery, Enterprise Commercial Solutions

Raghavendra is responsible for Client Delivery Operations within the Commercial BU managing teams across engagements as the leader of Capability and Operations Tower. He is experienced in delivering Transformation Solutions in the digital experience space leveraging mobile, portal, content, and commerce platforms. Raghavendra has incubated several competencies in this space-developing capabilities to serve customers, rolling out new offerings in line with the market needs, and leveraging accelerators and automation assets.<p>Before joining Indegene, Raghavendra has led Global Practice Delivery across Wipro, Cognizant, and DXC Technology. He holds an Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from the University of Mysore.</p>

Amit Patel

VP, Strategic Initiatives and Operations, Enterprise Medical Solutions

Amit helps biopharmaceutical companies in developing optimal launch, market access, pricing, reimbursement, contracting strategies, and tactics. He has experience in a broad array of disease and therapeutic areas, involving large and small molecules. With training in pharmacy, pharmaceutical marketing, and marketing research, Amit leads projects that help examine product level clinical and economic value, demand, pricing, and sales.<p>Amit has several peer-reviewed publications and has published in multiple areas including physician and patient decision-making, health economics, price controls, customer relationship marketing, marketing ethics, and policy. Amit likes to teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has Adjunct Professor positions at the University of Mississippi, University of Southern California, and Manipal University.</p><p>Amit holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Mumbai, MET Institute of Pharmacy, an MS in Pharmaceutical Marketing from St. John’s University, New York, and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Mississippi.</p>

Karthik Kannappan Saravanan

Karthik Kannappan (KK) is the Vice president and Group General Counsel of Indegene. He leads the legal and compliance function for our company and its global operation. He is a strategic business partner ensuring success for Indegene in legal and regulatory matters, while spearheading its compliance and ethics program.<p>Karthik is a seasoned professional with more than 16 years of experience, both as General Counsel at a large IT/ITES services company and Deputy General Counsel as well as Global Head of Ethics and Compliance at a leading global biosimilars company with several in-market and in-development biosimilars including monoclonal antibodies for cancer and autoimmune diseases, insulin, and insulin analogs for diabetes and conjugated recombinant proteins.</p><p>Recognized as a Board Certified Medical Affairs Specialist (BCMASTM), he mastered the industry standard of knowledge through intense study, self-assessment, and practical application, qualified to advise on various legal aspects of the pharmaceutical industry, medical device, diagnostics, and biotechnology companies.</p><p>Karthik Kannappan has an LL.B. degree from Bangalore University.</p>

Jitesh Sah

VP, Analytics

Jitesh heads the Enterprise Informatics Office (EIO) within the technology function at Indegene. EIO is focused on advancing digital tech solutions to tap growth through a modern data stack, advanced analytics, machine learning, and automation as the differentiator. Jitesh is responsible for creating and integrating proprietary software, artificial intelligence, and data assets that drive revenue and efficiency within Indegene key businesses while significantly improving margins.<p>Jitesh has more than 25 years of experience in business and digital tech acceleration. He brings expertise in data ecosystems, data engineering, data science, Dev/MLOps along with product development and research. Jitesh held leadership roles in Evalueserve before joining Indegene. His other experiences are in the area of enterprise web application development and systems integration.</p><p>Jitesh holds a graduate degree in computer science and engineering from Utkal University and a masters in international business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.</p>

Samantha Olson

VP, Leader of Accounts, Emerging Biotech

Samantha is a highly accomplished executive with expertise in managing client services and customer retention initiatives for over 15 years. With a proven track record of assessing risks, executing strategies, building team, launching product, she can lead organizations through critical transitions. By leading the high-performing teams, she has demonstrated success in penetrating untapped markets, surpassing targets, innovation, and identifying growth opportunities.<p>At Indegene, Samantha is responsible for the delivery and execution of the Development and Co-commercialization Biotech business. She manages all aspects of client relationship, including driving top-line performance across all business units. She partners with client’s senior leadership to develop organizational strategy across multiple initiatives to ensure all projects work in concert.</p><p>Prior to joining Indegene, she was a leader in Klick Health’s rare disease portfolio. Samantha also served as the agency of record lead for several top pharma companies such as Pfizer, AZ, BMS, and Merck as well as led product launches with different business units. She has held senior roles in various top creative agencies such as DRAFTFCB and Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness.</p><p>Samantha holds a bachelor's degree from Rutgers University.</p>

Jay Schwartz

VP, Customer Engagement

<p> Jay D. Schwartz is the VP of Customer Engagement for Omnichannel Activation where he serves as a subject matter expert in digital rep equivalence and the transition to a hybrid sales and marketing model. He regularly partners with the sales team and focuses on improving the omnichannel pipeline. </p> <p> With over 30 years of experience in commercializing medicines, Jay’s leadership experience bridges both sales and marketing disciplines. Most recently, he was Head of Sales Operations at Leo Pharmaceuticals and led sales operational efforts to launch a new monoclonal antibody, Tralokinumab, for atopic dermatitis. Under Jay’s leadership, they instituted several successful initiatives to support the salesforce launch selling efforts including Next Best Action, Power BI–based sales performance dashboards, cloud hosted territory level business planning, new territory alignments and targeting, omnichannel roadmap design, and a novel launch performance monitoring program. </p> <p>Jay has helped launch many new medicines and has played a significant role in the development of the GSK respiratory portfolio to therapeutic category leadership. He holds a B.S. in Pharmacy, an M.S. in Pharmaceutical Marketing, and an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. </p>

Gobin Chandra

VP, Business Development

<p> Gobin brings extensive experience in Strategy and Operations. He leads our relationship with multiple European Key Accounts and has an overall mandate to grow Indegene’s footprint in Europe. </p> <p> Prior to Indegene. he worked with Bain & Company for over six years across Chicago, Bengaluru, and New Delhi. He has also led global operations for a medical devices business in Gaithersburg MD, USA </p> <p>Gobin holds a Bachelor of Science (Physics) degree from the University of Delhi, India, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, USA. </p>

Shalini Madan Sharad

VP, Key Accounts

<p> Shalini brings over 20 years of experience in the life sciences and healthcare industry. She is VP, Key Accounts at Indegene, responsible for unlocking more value in key accounts and improving client satisfaction.</p> <p> Prior to Indegene, she held entrepreneurial roles in Wipro, Evalueserve, WNS, LiquidHub Analytics (formerly Annik, a Capgemini company) to incubate consulting practices, solutions, and teams. She has played a key role with Ascensia Diabetes care (a spin-off of Bayer) & Abbott as the Commercial Head.</p> <p>Shalini is an inventor of a collaborative care platform, a holistic, connected care/remote monitoring/digital health solution with successful launches of value-based care models across life science & medical device organizations. </p> <p>She has a Bachelor’s degree from Delhi University, an MBA degree from Amity Business School, India and has completed an Executive Program on US Health reforms from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, USA. </p>

<p>Norma is responsible for the Business Development of Commercialization Solutions for Indegene’s Emerging Biotech Business Unit. </p> <p>She partners with emerging biotech companies to appropriately translate their needs into a tailored end-to-end solution from late-stage product development through go-to-market commercialization, helping deliver their products to the patients who need them, in an efficient and cost-effective way. </p> <p>Before joining Indegene, Norma worked at Merck & Co for 32 years, leading global teams across the enterprise in Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and IT. She has led strategy development and execution for divisions, markets, brands, payers, and sales with a focus on digital and operating model transformation. </p> <p> Norma holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from Villanova University, USA.</p>

Sudhir Bhatt

<p> Sudhir brings over 22 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry. </p> <p>Currently, he leads two of Indegene’s key accounts and manages the global relationship across Regulatory, Medical and Commercial segments. </p> <p> In his 17 plus years at Indegene, Sudhir has played multiple roles and built and led large teams in Operations, Pre-sales, Account management and Business development. He has been instrumental in not only launching some large brands but also in operationalizing large global rollouts for the medical, commercial and marketing teams through operational excellence, strategic planning and execution. </p> <p>Prior to joining Indegene, Sudhir has worked at global brand agencies such as Sorento (now Havas Life Sorento), McCann Health and Sudler & Hennessey with a focus on developing and shaping the brand identity of many successful brands. </p> <p> Sudhir is a pharmacy graduate and holds a post-graduation degree in business administration.</p>
